1) Be Prepared:
Not tired or sick, Bike's in good running shape, gas tank full, bladder empty.— Make sure you know where we're going, who's leading and who's riding "Drag".— Plan on having FUN and enjoy the ride.
2) Getting started:
Get on the freeway SAFELY, the speed will increase when everyone's in line.
3) Staggered Formation:
Leave 2 bike links between the bike directly in front of you, on your side of the lane.— Single File on twisting mountain roads.
4) Ride Safe & Have Fun:
There's no need to ride wild to stay in the pack. If you fall behind don't panic, take it easy make your way through the traffic safely and catch up with the group.— Try to keep the pack tight.
5) Merging Traffic:
If cars need to get on or off the freeway, give them room to get over, they won't stay there long.— Don’t block intersections to let bikes go through.
6) Keep an Eye On the Bike Behind You:
If someone falls behind and the pack turns, wait at the turn where they can see you, so they don't pass it. You won't get left behind, I promise.
